What is AnkiQuiz?

AnkiQuiz is an AI quiz generator for Anki users. It turns selected card text into quiz questions so you can practice active recall instead of only reviewing flashcards.

How do I install the AnkiQuiz add-on?

Install the add-on from AnkiWeb, create an AnkiQuiz account, copy your API key from the dashboard, and paste it into the add-on settings in Anki.

Do I need an account to use it?

Yes. You need an AnkiQuiz account so the add-on can connect to your dashboard and generate quizzes for the decks you select.

Which question types are supported?

AnkiQuiz supports single choice, multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, and true/false questions. Free users get single-choice questions, while Trial and Pro unlock more formats.

Is my Anki data safe?

AnkiQuiz only processes the card text you choose to quiz. It does not store your full Anki database, and your data is not used to train AI models.
