Install the AnkiQuiz Add-on

Set up AnkiQuiz in three steps. You’ll need Anki Desktop and a free AnkiQuiz account.

Install the add-on

In Anki, open Tools → Add-ons → Get Add-ons…. Paste the code 466373479 and click OK. Restart Anki.

Copy your API key

Create a free account or sign in, then open your dashboard and copy the Plugin API Key. You’ll use it in the next step to connect the add-on to your account.

Connect and generate

  1. In Anki, open Tools → Anki Quiz.
  2. Paste your API key into the field at the top. It saves automatically.
  3. Select a deck and click Generate Quiz.

Need help?

  • No Anki Quiz menu? Restart Anki and confirm the add-on is enabled under Tools → Add-ons.
  • API key rejected? Copy it again from your dashboard and remove any spaces before pasting.
